While there is generally an excessive wait at this office I keep going back after more than 10 years. Dr Tipu is by far the best doctor I’ve ever dealt with. If it weren’t for him I probably wouldn’t be around anymore. My podiatrist and cardiologist are both here as well making things very convenient. The staff are helpful and do their best to keep up with a HUGE workload. If you can deal with waiting a bit you will be well taken care of.

I have been a patient for over 25 years, occasionally switched my insurance so that Dr Malik accepts it. Today I was mortified, as I'm sitting waiting to have my blood taken I'm told my insurance is paying him nothing, "they pay nothing Cathy you must change it, we are going to do your blood and heart scan complimentary but please fix it", once I was done having my blood taken I then sit in an area to have my heart scan (the whole reason for my visit is because I'm feeling ill) he asks his nurse what is she waiting for ? The nurse replies my heart scan, he then LOUDLY ACROSS THE OFFICE SAYS NO NO, THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR IT!!, I am humiliated and leave then go to the pharmacy to pick up medication that's supposedly going to be prescribed (telling me this prior to the insurance business) I am in the pharmacy for 20 mins, they are closing in 10 by this time..I phone the office and ask if it was sent, and was told that he was doing it at the moment....the pharmacy stayed open and still no medication. You know what's gross!!! This doctor has known me since I was a kid he was my mother's doctor many years ago, and I remember when he had a tiny office, and today he acted like a money hungry PIG, instead of a doctor. I'm ashamed of you Dr Abdul Malik.

While I appreciate the doctors here and love my doctor, if you value your time at all, look elsewhere. Had a 5:30 PM appointment just to go over blood results I took from a prior appointment, and it took over 2 hours to see the doctor. As I’m writing this it’s 7:54 PM and I have yet to see my doctor. All of this just to go over some paperwork. My last visit also endured a 2+ hour wait, but I thought it was just a one off. Doesn’t seem to be the case. Even though I truly appreciate my doctor, I can’t justify wasting so much time to be seen for such little tasks. Appointments here mean nothing it seems. The receptionists probably close their eyes, spin 3 times, and point at a number on the clock to book your appointment.

Love Dr. Tipu! His staff the entire team is wonderful too. There is a 2 hour wait pretty much every time though, even with appointments, so bring a book or something to do while you wait. The place is almost always packed. Dr. Malick is awesome too. Dr. Tipu is a very warm funny person and makes excellent judgement calls on when to dismiss minor symptoms, when to refer you to a specialist, when to order certain tests, etc. I feel like I’m in good hands plus his extroverted personality makes visits pleasant. He has great energy and it’s contagious. The physical space is a bit unconventional, you may find yourself getting a blood test by a kitchen sink, it feels like somebody’s house. I don’t mind, everyone has been professional and the processes have been efficient.

I used to go here when Dr. Jack Fathia used to work here. He is a good doctor and value your time. He always provided quality service to me. I wish he was still around at this location. Dr. Malik is a good doctor as well, very professional and he takes his time seeing his patient. You will always find this crowded. I wish they call back in case you missed an appointment. Also be prepare to wait for an hour before you will be seen regardless of given appointment.
