A kosher Italian restaurant in Tel Aviv offering authentic dairy-based Italian dishes crafted by experienced Italian-born chefs, blending traditional flavors, warm hospitality, and a genuine Italian dining experience.
Pankina is a kosher Italian restaurant located at the corner of Gordon and Dizengoff streets in Tel Aviv. It was founded by three partners who immigrated from Italy. Each brings significant experience in the restaurant industry—Emmanuel Di Ferto has thirty years as a chef, Rami Fedlon previously opened La Taverna del Ghetto (the first kosher restaurant in Rome’s Jewish quarter), and Shalom Zarog left his restaurant in Italy to open this intimate, authentic Italian eatery in Israel.
🍝 Authentic Italian Cuisine
Pankina’s menu showcases a rich variety of Italian dairy-kosher dishes: from starter plates and vibrant salads to both traditional and new-wave pastas, fish entrées, and a “fried” section inspired by Rome’s Jewish-Ghetto traditions. Dessert rounds off the journey with Italian classics prepared to precision.
🕍 Kosher & Dairy Focused
Operating under kosher standards, Pankina emphasizes dairy-based meals and ensures all offerings meet strict dietary guidelines. This specialization enables diners seeking kosher experiences to enjoy Italian cuisine without compromise.
🎉 Italian Heart in Tel Aviv
Founded by entrepreneurs who brought their Italian roots and restaurant expertise to Israel, the ambiance and food of Pankina evoke a small slice of Italy right in Tel Aviv—built on decades of culinary experience and a passion for bringing Italian hospitality to a local audience.
🕑 Convenient Operating Hours
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily from roughly midday until midnight on Sunday through Thursday, and on Fridays from midday until around 3 pm (before the start of Shabbat). Thereafter it re-opens one hour after Shabbat ends, again until midnight. This schedule accommodates both casual daytime dining and evening meals.
